Group Spiritual Direction

Group spiritual direction is a similar experience of intentional listening and seeking God's presence, but the process is done within a group. Participants are guided by a trained spiritual director who serves as a facilitator. Some people find individual spiritual direction to be a more intimate experience and appreciate the one-to-one focus. Others enjoy the support, encouragement and collective wisdom found within a group setting.

In group spiritual direction, extroverts may appreciate the opportunity to develop their skills of listening to others at a deep, caring level. Introverts may appreciate the opportunity to share their stories in a safe and nurturing environment. Group direction also includes space for silence and reflection.
